Amanda Lavergne joined The Case Foundation as the Office Coordinator in June 2011 shortly after graduating from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. Her responsibilities vary from coordinating meetings, schedules and events to assisting in various projects as well as making sure the kitchen and supply room are well stocked. Amanda loves feeding off of the positive energy and work ethic her co-workers bring to the table as well as the fast-paced environment the Foundation has to offer.
Before joining the Foundation, Amanda narrowed in on her background in communications in college with various internships regarding journalism and public relations in New York City. With an interest in traveling, she also studied abroad in London in the spring of 2010 and was able to travel to many other countries including Spain, France and Ireland.
Amanda currently lives in northern Virginia and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as her pug, Rupert. She enjoys reading, writing, and is a social media addict as well as an iPhone fanatic. Also, as a major foodie, Amanda loves trying out new restaurants in the D.C. metro area.
