Brad oversees internal and external communications, seeking to share far and wide the latest news on the foundations initiatives, such as broadening the number of people who give and making philanthropy part of everyday life.
As a senior executive at MCI, Inc. for more than a decade, Brad managed the company’s global communications organization, encompassing financial, M&A, product, international, public policy, employee and industry analyst communications. During his tenure Brad led MCI’s communications initiatives through high-growth, large-scale marketing activity, aggressive M&A efforts, financial crisis, and brand restoration.
In 2004, the Public Relations Society of America recognized Brad with its highest honor, the Silver Anvil for Public Relations Professional of the Year, for his leadership in restoring MCI's corporate reputation from its days as WorldCom. Prior to MCI, Brad was with Ogilvy, Adams & Rinehart, where he developed and implemented public affairs strategies for healthcare, technology and defense clients. He currently is an adjunct professor of Corporate Communications at Georgetown University.
