Director, Interactive Communications
Sokunthea Sa Chhabra joined the Case Foundation in November 2007 from the private sector, where she focused on communications, marketing and community relations. As the Director of Interactive Communications (also nicknamed the ‘Word Czar’), she gets to apply her interests and skills in spreading the word about organizations that are doing good, through the web and experimenting with innovative ways to reach people with social media. Although she focuses on communicating online, she recognizes nothing beats talking over a good ol' cup of coffee.
Previous to joining the Foundation, Sokunthea worked at AOL, Deloitte and Wellogic – companies with great histories of caring deeply about their communities. She holds an M.B.A., Certificate in Public and Nonprofit Management, and B.S. in Communications from Boston University.
When not frenetically trying to keep up with the latest social media trend or pondering her next blog post, she is usually traveling to visit family and friends or explore different countries. Wherever she may be, there is a good chance she is either on a mountain or in water, with increased odds of bodily injury!
