Rural
Liked the 25 things about the foundation. I run (volunteer) a public foundation in canada, started in 1994, but we are sooooo small..it is a constant challenge to get volunteers..community of 1400 people with a recently burned down arena that will now need to be replaced,a grain elevator that needs to be renovated into a tourism attraction etc. etc. I also work in community development for the provincial government so know the needs in many small rural communities so always love to get a boost looking at new sites..recently learned about "twittering" so think we need to be more proactive about teaching our youth to help us to promote and become actively involved in our organizations..they are the future and they have many of the answers already..tehy just don't know it!!!
