Update: NEW Special Prize Grants from the Case Foundation: We are pleased to announce that we will be awarding a $2,500 grant to the nonprofit with the most “Fearless” video in each category.
Action! The Case Foundation is proud to be a part of the 6th Annual DoGooder Nonprofit Video Contest. If your nonprofit made a video this past year, we want to see it, show it, and recognize your work. It’s time to let that video shine, get some more views, and win some awards.
Last year’s contest was an amazing event, with nearly 1,400 videos entered, 24,000 public votes, and almost 1,000,000 views for the winning videos. If you participated last year, be sure to enter a new video for this year’s award. If you haven’t participated before, then now is the time to enter your video.
The contest is officially accepting submissions starting February 1st through February 29th. Eligible contestants MUST be members of the YouTube Nonprofit program. If your organization is not already a member of this free service: no sweat, it’s easy to register and only takes about 10 minutes.
And what do the winning nonprofits win you ask? The organizations behind the year’s best videos will win prize donations and products generously provided by Cisco and the Case Foundation to help them build their human and technology networks to multiply their impact on the people and communities they serve. Winners will also receive free registrations to next year’s Nonprofit Technology Conference provided by the Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN). To make sure that winning videos get in front of the largest online video community in the world the winners will be featured on YouTube’s homepage on Thursday, April 5th – That means a surge of views for your video. Sounds pretty awesome, right?
The DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards are presented by See3 Communications and YouTube with generous sponsorship from Cisco, the Case Foundation, and the Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN).
And after you enter your great videos, don’t forget to tell your friends and nonprofit affiliates to do the same! The world is looking forward to seeing your video. Good luck!
