E-cycle in DC this Saturday

I’m still on a kick of cleaning and organizing from New Year’s Eve (traditionally Scottish culture welcomes a new year by having one’s household appear the way you hope it will be for the remaining 364 days; warm, full of food and drink and clean!). So I was very excited to see a retweet about E-cyling from @aklundy letting folks know about @goinggreendc’s latest blog post Out with the Old: Recycle Your Old Electronics.

Certain Whole Foods shops in the DC Metro area are accepting electronic items for recycling this Saturday from 10am-3pm. Since recycling electronics can be costly and complicated I’m thrilled to take advantage of this simple and free fix. Have a look in your office/home and see if you have any electronic items languishing that you’d do well to start 2010 without!
