Haiti earthquake - ways to help

We wanted to share a few online and mobile resources for those of you interested in helping survivors of yesterday's earthquake in Haiti.  Network for Good has consolidated a list of organizations providing funds for critical aid including water, food, shelter, and medical care for victims, and links to donate to each of those organizations.  Global Giving has also set up a page listing projects dedicated to earthquake relief.

On the mobile front, you can make a $5 contribution to Wyclef Jean's Foundation, Yele Haiti, by texting “Yele” to 501501; and a $10 donation to the Red Cross' relief efforts by texting “HAITI” to 90999 from your mobile phone.

Huffington Post's Impact channel also has a nice running list of resources and organizations that are working to provide relief efforts to Haiti, worth keeping an eye on as more are added throughout the day / week. You can also follow updates on Twitter through the #Haiti tag.
