America's Promise America's Promise is an alliance whose partners work together to ensure that all young people have the resources they need to realize their full potential. The organization and its partners focus on five "promises" that all children need and deserve -- caring adults, safe places, a healthy start, a good education, and opportunities to help others. Inspired by the leadership of founder General Colin Powell and the mission to make our youth a national priority, the Case Foundation made one of its first major grants to America's Promise.
With a clear strategy in place, America's Promise is better positioned to ensure that children and youth have the resources they need to succeed.
The Case Foundation has played an important leadership role in reenergizing and positioning America's Promise for continued success. It helped the organization identify its strategic priorities for 2005 and helped lead the search for the organization's new CEO, Marguerite Sallee. We continue to work closely with America's Promise to assess long-term priorities and plans to achieve effective and lasting social change to improve the lives of all American children and youth. With a clear strategy in place, America's Promise is better positioned to ensure that children and youth have the resources they need to succeed. |
